405 nm Lambda Beam

Lambda Beam is designed for free space optical setups. The laser delivers a stable, well-defined beam that can be shaped and focused with standard optics. It is well suited for laboratory environments where direct access to the beam path is required. Different versions include 40 mW, 75 mW, 125 mW, 175 mW, 200 mW, 300 mW and 500 mW output power with 40-300 mW being single-mode and 500 mW being multi-mode. We recommend using our water cooling base plate for output levels of 300 mW or higher to ensure optimal performance. Additional information on technical details and add-ons can be found on the data-sheets on our Downloads page.   Typical applications include fluorescence, spectroscopy and microscopy. Lambda Beam is the right choice when flexibility in the optical layout is important.

Lambda Beam Pigtailed: Fiber-Coupled 405 nm Laser

Lambda Beam Pigtailed provides stable 405 nm output through an optical fiber. The fiber coupling is factory aligned and requires no adjustment by the user. This makes integration simpler and more robust. The laser is ideal when the source must be separated from the experiment or installed inside a closed instrument. It is commonly used in OEM systems and compact analytical devices.

Lambda Beam Wavelock: Wavelength-Stabilized 405 nm Laser

Lambda Beam Wavelock is optimized for applications that require high wavelength stability (<0.015nm). The laser actively stabilizes the emission wavelength and maintains a narrow spectrum over time. That way, we can ensure a spectral linewidth of less than 160 MHz /0.1pm. This is important for techniques such as Raman spectroscopy or interferometric measurements. Wavelock is chosen when spectral drift would directly affect measurement accuracy.
